Retort and Hot Fill Packaging

Retort or hot fill flexible packaging is designed with multiple layers of selected materials to provide barrier properties, thermal resistance, and structural integrity, thereby ensuring the quality and safety of the packaged foods, whether for autoclave sterilization processes or hot filling.

Retort Pouch

Retort flexible packaging is specially designed to withstand rigorous thermal processes, such as autoclave sterilization, thereby ensuring the preservation of the quality and safety of packaged foods. These packages are made from a strategic composition of multiple layers of flexible materials, offering effective barrier properties, thermal resistance, and structural integrity. The materials are laminated together to ensure a hermetic and durable seal during thermal processing, protecting the package’s contents from contamination and maintaining their integrity.

Hot Fill Pouch

Hot fill packaging is specifically designed to withstand the hot filling of liquid or semi-liquid foods. It is composed of multiple layers of selected materials to ensure heat resistance and an effective barrier against oxygen ingress. This helps to extend the shelf life of the packaged products, preserving their quality and flavor. Additionally, there are extra layers that provide stability and mechanical resistance during handling and transportation, thus ensuring packaging integrity and product safety.

Quality and
Security

Certifications play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of packaged products. They attest that materials and manufacturing processes meet the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and regulatory compliance. Mega Goglio holds BRC Packaging Materials certification, recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), and ISO 9001 certification, both aimed at guaranteeing the production of safe, contamination-free packaging fully suitable for food packaging.
